Our Story
As a kid, I always felt like I didn’t quite belong. Fashion felt like a language I couldn’t speak—there were no clothes that truly represented who I was. I found myself struggling to fit into the rigid categories that society placed me in. The “boys” section at stores felt too narrow, too limiting. And the “girls” section felt like it wasn’t for me either. I was lost in between, and that feeling stayed with me as I grew older.
When I became a young adult and started buying my own clothes, I still felt that emptiness. I wanted to express myself, but every store seemed to forget about people like me—the ones who don’t fit perfectly into either box. The clothes on the racks didn’t speak to who I truly was or how I wanted to feel.
That’s when I realized: there had to be more people like me—people who just wanted to be included, people who were tired of choosing between labels that didn’t define them. And so, Lumé was born.
Lumé isn’t just a brand; it’s a place for people who feel like they don’t fit into the world’s narrow definitions. It’s a space where we create for those who don’t want to be excluded—those who want to express themselves freely, boldly, and unapologetically.
